The Quilt Starter Workshops are in-person interactive session and have two parts:
After the introductory part of the Quilt Starter Workshop, you will be asked to decide if you will commit to making a panel for the Community Quilt. If you join the project, we will provide you with a pre-cut cotton base material and printed instructions. You will also be required to register with a 'username' and an email address and phone number so we can follow up and check on your progress. Completed panels are due no later than May 15.
Host a Quilt Starter Workshop for your group, at your location
We can bring the one-hour workshop to your group or location! Contact us to make arrangements. info@wethepeoplequilt.org
This part involves you! Creating together is a terrific way to build community. Organize a 'We the People Quilt Meetup' gathering at your location to help folks work on their designs and provide mutual support to get their panels done by the deadline, May 15. If you want the meetup to be open to others, send us the information (email info@wethepeoplequilt.org) and we can add it to the event calendar below.
